Global Ancient Microbiome Intiatives

GAMI projects use ancient DNA to reconstruct ancient microbiomes, revealing insights into health, species evolution, and our changing planet over thousands of years. Given that most of the ancient microbiome data is currently centered in Europe, these projects are developing international partnerships to change that.
